Swaralipi is new concept for creating musical composition of Indic genres using Indic music notation systems. The primary objective of this concept is to provide a new mean to transcribe, render, display, store and play Indic music using Indic music notation systems. To make the concept into reality, we have postulated a new framework for transcribing and rendering Indic music sheet. We have also designed and developed a new XML format for storing and exchanging musical information accross web.
